The popular poker platform PokerStars is hosting a series of WCOOP tournaments, in which representatives of Ukraine are winning.

First of all, let’s remember the poker player with the nickname MiMikyolo, who became the champion at the WCOOP 54-M event: NLHE Mini Bounty Builder HR with a buy-in of only $55 and a prize pool of $300,000.

As part of the WCOOP Edition, another similar competition with an identical entry price was won by a Ukrainian with the nickname AlexLytvyn. Last year, he took home a tidy sum of more than 10 thousand dollars in cash, and in 2024, he even managed to surpass that!

Returning to the outstanding achievement of MiMikyolo, it should be noted that the field of his opponents consisted of 5,667 people! It was even more pleasant for the Ukrainian poker player to not only win, but also receive $19,280 in prize money. He also earned $11,438 for knocking out opponents, so MiMikyolo’s overall earnings during the event amounted to more than $30,000. In the gap-up, the Ukrainian representative’s opponent was a Brazilian with the nickname JeCanoff.

A number of Ukrainians also reached the final tables of the WCOOP series. In particular, in the same tournament in which MiMikyolo triumphed, YanZ97 took 6th place.
