The head of the Ukrainian Gambling Council, Anton Kuchukhidze, published a statement explaining the possible reasons behind the attacks on the Commission for the Regulation of Gambling. Calls Pretending to Be from the Head of KRAIL with Offers of Corruption Schemes – an Attempt to Discredit Not Only Ivan Rudy but Also the Entire Legalization Process of Gambling in Ukraine. This statement was made by the head of the Ukrainian Gambling Council.

“Legalizing the gambling business is still unpopular with many. This discontent comes from politicians, particularly opposition figures, from opposition bloggers, and from all the illegal operators that the state is actively combating and shutting down on a daily and weekly basis. This dissatisfied group does not like that the state is striving to see this reform through to the end, which cannot be achieved without defeating illegal operators,” states the head of the UGC.

The head of the UGC also emphasized that Ivan Rudy has no connection to any schemes, provocations, or corruption cases. “When a person is associated with such matters, either there is a judicial process in which someone is trying to establish justice, or there are significant media waves. It’s important to understand that media waves cannot occur without factual evidence, and there is currently no such evidence. Thus, they are attempting to discredit the responsible name of a public servant. In reality, this is not just an attack on Mr. Rudy; it is an attack on the entire legal market, the whole legal industry, and, in fact, on every legal organizer of gambling. The Commission is one part of the legal gambling industry,” emphasized UGC head Anton Kuchukhidze.

The head of the Ukrainian Gambling Council calls on the market to unite in the fight for the protection of gambling legalization. KRAIL head Ivan Rudy emphasized on his Facebook page that there can be no talk of shadow offers or establishing “schemes” within the Commission for the Regulation of Gambling and Lotteries. Ivan Rudy urged people to report such cases of “fake” calls. Recall that on September 16, Ivan Rudy reported that scammers were calling from a fake number, posing as the head of KRAIL, and demanding money from market representatives. Ivan Rudy urged people not to fall for these provocations.
