According to the press service of the National Commission for the Regulation of Communications and Information (NCCIR) on February 11, the court issued the relevant decision on January 27, 2020, but the ruling has not yet been published on the website of the Unified Register of Court Decisions.
According to the NCCIR, the ruling provides for the seizure of “intellectual property rights arising from the use of 60 web resources by Internet users ” by blocking access to them by Internet providers.
The full list of banned websites can be found on the NCCIR website. Currently, access to most of them, including Favorit Sport, Parimatch and Kosmolot, remains open.

The reason for blocking these 60 websites is not specified, but online casinos and betting shops could have been blocked due to violations of the law banning gambling. Back in January, the police conducted searches and seized equipment at the Favorit Sport betting company because its websites provided access to online gambling.
As a reminder, on December 20, the Cabinet of Ministers banned gambling activities disguised as state lotteries. On the same day, the police announced the closure of all such establishments in Ukraine. Did you find the news interesting and informative?
