The Czech Republic continues to amend the Gambling Act and reform the industry. One of the innovations is the so-called panic button for online casino players.
The sphere of gambling in the Czech Republic is quite effectively regulated by legislation. But in 2023, the government decided to change the law on gambling, which was adopted in 2017, and completely reform the industry of sports betting, casinos and lotteries.

From 2023, the Czech government is introducing various initiatives to control the activities of betting companies and casinos, transparency of financial settlements and reduce the level of ludomania in the Czech society.
One of the interesting innovations was the panic button. It should be introduced by all online casinos. The point is that the player can press this button at times when he feels a loss of control. After that, access to legal online casinos in the Czech Republic will be closed for 48 hours.
